“Every church building is a gathering place for the assembly, a resting place, a place of encounter with God, as well as a point of departure on the Church’s unfinished journey toward the reign of God.”
—Built of Living Stones, chapter 1, #17

In light of the changes of Vatican II, many parish communities are finding that their present structures do not fit the manner in which they would like to worship. With the new or renovated worship space comes the opportunity for a community to examine who they are as a worshipping body and make the changes that will better serve their needs.

The role of the Liturgical Consultant is to offer facilitation and formation to individuals and groups enabling them to express their religious beliefs and values as they evaluate their existing or future worship space.
